Terms of service

Effective October 17, 2026 (version 2026-10-17)

Who we are

The site passcited.com is run by PassCited, which makes online practice for the ASP®, CSP® and CHST® exams. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean PassCited, and “you” means the person using the site. You can reach us at hello@passcited.com. We answer support, refund and complaint emails.

Agreeing to these terms

By creating an account, signing in, or buying a pass, you agree to these terms, our privacy policy and our disclaimer. If you don't agree, don't use the site. You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to buy a pass.

These terms apply from the effective date above. If you bought before then, the refund and extension terms you bought under still cover that purchase, and you don't need to accept anything again. If we change these terms, we post the new version here with a new effective date. Changes apply to purchases and use from that date, never to a purchase already made.

Your pass and account

A pass is a one-time payment for 180 days of access to the exam or exams it covers. It doesn't auto-renew. Prices are shown before you pay: $80 for one exam, or $143 for the three-exam bundle, plus any sales tax shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Team purchases are arranged by email, and each person gets the same 180-day access.

A pass is for one person. Don't share your account, sign-in links or access with anyone else, and don't resell or transfer a pass. You're responsible for keeping access to your email account secure, because that's how you sign in. We may suspend an account that is shared or used to break these terms.

Acceptable use

Use PassCited for your own exam study. Don't scrape, crawl, bulk download or copy the questions, explanations, lessons, videos or other content, whether by hand or with bots, scripts or other automated tools. Don't use our content to build or train another product or dataset, including AI models. Don't repost or sell our content, try to get around access limits or security, or disrupt the site. Don't submit real exam questions or other copyrighted prep content (see our disclaimer).

Who owns the content

The questions, explanations, lessons, narration, videos, study plans, software and design on PassCited belong to us or the people we license them from. Your pass gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use them for your own study while your access lasts. Regulation text we quote is public government text and stays free for anyone to use. You keep ownership of what you write to us, such as reviews and question reports, and you let us use it to run and improve the site (reviews are published only as described in our privacy policy).

Refunds: 7-day money-back guarantee

If PassCited isn't for you, ask for a refund within 7 days (168 hours) of your purchase and we refund it in full, with no questions asked, as long as you haven't finished a full mock exam on that purchase. Press “Request a refund” on your account page while signed in with the email you bought with, or email hello@passcited.com.

Fair use: finishing a full-length mock exam (submitting it, or letting its timer run out) on an exam the purchase covers, after you bought it, ends refund eligibility for that purchase. Mini mocks, practice questions, the AI tutor and starting a full mock without finishing it don't count. Before you start a full mock inside the 7 days, we remind you of this.

You get back what you actually paid, including any tax and after any chapter or friend discount. For the three-exam bundle, that is the full bundle price you paid. The refund goes to the card you paid with; banks usually show it within 5 to 10 business days.

A refund ends the access that purchase gave you right away. If a friend's referral link was used for the purchase, the friend who shared it doesn't get the $15 for it.

Refunds are limited to one per customer: one per email address, and one per payment card. After 7 days, purchases are not refundable, but the free extensions below still apply. Refunds made by us or through a card dispute end access the same way.

Free 30-day extensions while you study

Your 180 days extend free while you keep studying, up to your exam date. We check every day. When your pass has 7 days or less left and hasn't ended, and you have answered practice questions on at least 3 different days (Pacific time) in the last 14 days, we add up to 30 days to it at no cost and email you. This repeats each time the pass is within 7 days of ending, as long as you keep studying.

Extensions stop at the end of the 7th day after the exam date you set in your study plan (Pacific time). If you haven't set an exam date, they stop 12 months after your pass started. An extension that would go past that limit is shortened to end at it. Extensions also stop once you report that you passed every exam on your pass. Changing your exam date later changes the limit for future extensions.

Extensions belong to the pass they extend. If that purchase is refunded or reversed through a card dispute, its extensions end with it, and a pass with a refund in progress isn't extended. Extensions are never paid out as cash. They are separate from the 7-day refund, the $15 back from a friend's referral, and the 90-day extension if you don't pass, and they work alongside all three.

No pass guarantee; 90 more days if you don't pass

We do not guarantee that you will pass any exam. If you study with an active pass and do not pass, tell us through the exam follow-up email or your dashboard, or email hello@passcited.com. We add 90 days of access at no cost, right away, when all of these are true: you had a pass covering that exam, bought on or before your exam day and not refunded (a redeemed study-group pass counts); your access was still running on your exam day, or ended no more than 14 days before it; you answered practice questions on that exam on at least 3 different days (Pacific time) between when that pass started and your exam day; and no refund is in progress on your account. If you don't give an exam date, the day you tell us counts as your exam day.

Each person can receive this extension once per exam. If your situation doesn't meet these conditions, email us and we'll look at it. The extension is an access extension, not a cash refund, and it is separate from the 7-day refund above.

Referrals: give 15% off, get $15 back

Every account has a personal referral link. A friend who buys their first pass through it gets 15% off. For each friend who buys, we refund $15 to the card you paid with, as a partial refund on your most recent purchase. We send it once the friend's purchase is past its 7-day refund window, so about 7 days after they buy. If you haven't bought yet, we save it and refund it once your own purchase is past its 7-day refund window.

The total you get back never exceeds what you paid, not counting tax. After that, your link still gives friends 15% off but doesn't earn more. Getting money back this way doesn't change your access, and it doesn't count toward the one-refund limit. One credit per friend, by email address. It doesn't apply to your own purchases, and the friend discount doesn't combine with chapter or group discounts. If a friend's purchase is refunded before we pay, there's no credit for it. Referrals credited before October 16, 2026 earned 30 days of access, and those days stay.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from your account page. Deleting it ends any active pass, so request any refund you're due first. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. If we close an account without a breach of these terms, we refund the unused part of any active pass. We may change or stop features, but we won't remove what a pass you've bought includes during its access period without a refund for the unused part.

Study material, as is

PassCited is a study aid. We work to keep it accurate, but we provide it as is and as available, without promises that it is error-free, complete or always online, to the extent the law allows. The official regulation text controls over anything on PassCited. Nothing here is safety, engineering, legal or compliance advice for any specific workplace.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost opportunities or exam fees, arising from your use of PassCited. Our total liability for any claim about PassCited is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50. These limits don't apply where the law doesn't allow them, including for fraud, willful injury or gross negligence, and they don't take away any consumer rights you have under the law.

If something goes wrong

Tell us first. Most problems are solved quickly by email. Before starting any claim, email hello@passcited.com with your name, the email you use on PassCited, what happened and what you'd like us to do. We'll reply and try in good faith to resolve it within 30 days. If we can't resolve it in that time, either of us may take it to small claims court, or to the state or federal courts located in Santa Clara County, California. You may also contact the consumer protection agency where you live.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under the consumer laws of the place where you live.

Notice for California users

Under California Civil Code Section 1789.3, California users are entitled to this consumer rights notice. The service is provided by PassCited, reachable at hello@passcited.com. A pass costs $80 for one exam or $143 for the three-exam bundle, as a one-time payment plus any sales tax shown at checkout; the free diagnostic and free practice questions cost nothing. For a complaint or more information, email us. You may also contact the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs in writing at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N-112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or by telephone at (800) 952-5210.

General

If a part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term right away, we can still enforce it later. You can't transfer your rights under these terms. These terms, the privacy policy and the disclaimer are the whole agreement between you and us about PassCited.
