Didn't pass the ASP? Plan your retake
Didn't pass the ASP? Your BCSP score report lists, for each domain, how many questions you had and how many you got right. Type those numbers below and we rank your domains by exam weight times share missed, so you know where to start. BCSP lets you retest after six weeks.
You have the ASP pass. Enter your score report in your course to reweight your study plan.
What your report tells you
BCSP's guide to the result report describes a diagnostic section with two columns per domain: the number of questions in that domain, and the number you answered correctly. It also says candidates "are not required to earn a minimum score in each subject area, or domain", and that the result is based on how many scored questions you answered correctly, with every scored question weighted the same.
So a domain with a low share isn't "failed". It's where points went. Points in a heavy domain matter more, which is why we multiply by the domain's weight on the current blueprint (ASP11).
BCSP requires at least six weeks between attempts (retesting policy). Use them on your top domains first, then mixed timed practice across all of them.
No score report to hand?
The free 25-question diagnostic scores every domain in blueprint proportion, so you can find your weak spots without the report.
FAQ
What does the BCSP score report show if I don't pass the ASP?
For each exam domain, BCSP's guide to the report says it shows two numbers: how many questions were in that domain and how many you answered correctly. Candidates also report a total, such as 104 out of 175 scored questions. People who pass get a pass result without a score.
How soon can I retake the ASP?
BCSP requires at least six weeks from your last attempt before you can test again. That gives you about six weeks or more to work on your weakest domains.
What is the passing score for the ASP?
BCSP doesn't publish current passing scores. Its result guide says the result is based on how many scored questions you answered correctly, all scored questions count the same, and there is no minimum score per domain. This tool never guesses a passing score.
How do you rank my domains?
By what each domain cost you: its weight on today's blueprint times the share of its questions you missed. A heavy domain where you missed a fair amount can outrank a light domain where you missed more. It's an estimate to decide where to start, not a prediction.
My report uses the old outline. Does that matter?
Pick your test date and we use the outline you were tested on (CSP10 before Aug 1, 2025; ASP10 before Sep 1, 2025). We then carry your results onto today's domains using BCSP's published blueprint change notes, so the plan matches the exam you'll retake.
Do you store my score report?
Not on this page. We don't ask for your name, email or candidate ID, and we keep only the anonymous domain numbers to improve the tool. Never type in exam questions: BCSP's rules forbid sharing them.
